So anyways, hello and whatnot. I am posting another deviation, but this time, this I took a lot of time on. I worked very hard on making everything look awesome, perfect, etc. The dark matter was one of the trickiest parts of the whole picture, but instead of coloring it in with a pencil, I used this shading tool along with smudging and wha-lah! Seriously, this is probably the longest pictures I've done and all of it was done for my free-time in school. Aren't I just grand? I also worked on this when I wasn't supposed to, so go me!
Anyways, Mario is in Toy Time's purple coin challenge and he is on a very awesome 8-bit Luigi. Toy Time Galaxy is my favorite Super Mario Galaxy level and this happened to be one of my favorite missions. Yes, one of the hardest ones to you guys. Behind the easiness that was the 8-bit Mario, is the difficulty and viciously annoying 8-bit Luigi. Lava replaced with dark matter!? OH NOES. NOT TEH DARK MATTER. SHRINKING PLATFORMS? A 3 MINUTE TIME LIMIT? OH THE HELL OF IT ALL. Mario is standing on one of the shrinking platforms while the ones all around him have already been stepped on and isn't close to finishing the challenge. Well snapz.
After I finished drawing the Mario that will soon drown in the 8-bit Luigi's dark matter of death, I thought it wasn't enough. I mean, I have to give as much dedication to my favorite level in one of the best games ever known to Nintendo-kind in order to make it look right. So I drew the Mecha Bowser that is far away (that was something I couldn't really do well). It doesn't look like Bowser much, but all I remember was the conveyor belt, the stack of rock platforms on top of the head, the hair, the shell and the arms. I didn't put a bunch of minor details on the robot itself. There's the sweet-foods platform with the gumball cannon with... OH MY GOSH WHO IS THAT? WHY IT'S CANNON MOLE. One of the most pathetic bosses in the entire game to be honest but it was still a fun fight. Also... ... there's the cute little train on a incomplete track with a stupid Toad on it. He does fail doesn't he? Finally, the other Super Mario galaxy details. The star, the star bits and a blackhole to finish it off.
The background, all I remember that it looked kind of grid-ish and colorful. Remember, I don't color my pictures. I might someday but now isn't the time. Anyways, I hope you really like this picture. I need to make more Mario fanart.
NEXT OFF, THE TRADE WITH
Mario and Super Mario Galaxy (c) Nintendo Art (c) Um, take a gander.
Brilliant, man! Instant fave! I gotta agree with Mario here 'cause all Mario wants is for things to be peaceful yet he's forced into these kinds of situations due to a hard-headed reptile. Of course, we wouldn't have the Mario series otherwise, would we?

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
